200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

April 2026 | Sanctuary Somatics

At Sanctuary Somatics, we believe that yoga teacher training is more than just learning to teach—it’s a journey of personal transformation, alignment, and empowerment.

Whether you are stepping into the role of teacher for the first time or are an experienced practitioner seeking depth, this Yoga Alliance® Certified 200-Hour Training will give you the tools to teach with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

What Makes This Training Unique

  • Alignment-Focused: We dive deep into asana, biomechanics, and intelligent sequencing so you can teach safely and purposefully.
  • Experiential Learning: You’ll regularly practice teaching, gain experience with cueing, hands-on assists, and learn to design your own sequences.
  • Holistic Approach: Beyond physical practice, we’ll explore yoga philosophy, history, subtle body, pranayama, and meditation.
  • Supportive Community: Build lasting connections with peers while being mentored by experienced, passionate teachers.
  • Legacy of Excellence: Rooted in the Dragon Yoga lineage that shaped hundreds of teachers, this program carries forward a tradition of inclusivity, dedication, and mindful guidance.

Graduate Testimonials

"Dragon's (now Sanctuary Somatics) 200-hour teacher training program is hands down the best school in the OKC area. Maybe even all of Oklahoma. The studio is a welcoming place for ALL practitioners, students, teachers, or anyone just wanting to experience the feeling of community and have a safe studio to call home. I am already marking my calendar and making plans to attend the next 300-hour training in fall of 2024.” - Amy Carson
“Des is so committed to yoga and her students. Her time, energy, and heart for YTT is inspiring. She’s an amazing teacher, mentor, and friend.” - past graduate
"Participating in Dragon Yoga’s yoga instructor training program is one of the best things I have ever chosen to do for myself. I learned very in-depth how to safely and clearly teach others how to do yoga, but I also grew as a more patient, loving, and confident human being.” - Sidney Baker
